4. Ronaldinho

The man who brought joy to millions of football fans across the world, Ronaldinho was - and still is - a genius.

During his five-year spell at Barcelona he did things on the pitch that we'd never seen before. And while the tricks and flicks were all well and good, the attacking midfielder was also hugely effective, scoring 94 goals and providing 81 assists in his 214 matches at the Camp Nou.

Ronaldinho won two La Liga titles and a Champions League with the Catalan giants, while he picked up the Ballon d'Or in 2005.

The 33-year-old later spent two years with AC Milan before heading back to Brazil, where he won the Copa Libertadores with Atlético Mineiro.
