5: Jose Mourinho's Chelsea | 2004-07

Backed by the financial muscle of Roman Abramovich and guided by one of the most talented young managers the game had ever seen, Chelsea became the dominant force in England between 2004 and 2007.

With Didier Drogba up front, the ever-assured Frank Lampard in midfield, John Terry at centre-half and the emerging Petr Cech in goal, the Blues had a spine to rival anyone in world football.

Amassing two Premier League titles, one F.A Cup, two League Cups and a Community Shield in three years, Mourinho led Chelsea into a shining new era.

The only thing they failed to do was conquer Europe, but on their day they were a match for most.
