Hamburg midfielder Tomas Rincon is being targeted by both Fulham and Sunderland, according to The Sun.

The 25-year-old’s current contract runs out at the end of the season and a transfer away seems imminent.

The news that the Venezuelan international has recently rejected an offer to renew his contract with Hamburg has sparked interest from the two Premier League sides who believe they can get their man for around the £2 million mark.

Rincon had previously been linked with a summer move to Hull City.

It is reported that The Tigers had enquired about Rincon’s availability, to which Hamburg confirmed that they would be willing to listen to any offers for the midfield man.

Rincon has played 88 Bundesliga games for Hamburg and has been a regular starter in the Venezuelan squad during the 2014 World Cup qualifiers.
