Edinson Cavani is giving serious thought to leaving Paris St Germain at the end of the season, with the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea monitoring developments, according to French newspaper Le 10 Sport.
Arsenal, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund have all been placed on alert with Cavani reportedly asking his representatives to explore options regarding a move in June.
The Uruguayan international was linked with Chelsea before moving to PSG for €63m. Both Arsenal and Chelsea are in the market for a striker, with many expecting the two Premier League giants to move in the January window.
But the report suggests both could wait until next summer and join the scrap for Cavani. The 26-year-old forward has had no problem finding the target in the French capital - his brace against Lorient last weekend were his eight and ninth league goals of the campaign so far.
He leads the Ligue 1 scoring chart from fellow big-money summer arrival Radamel Falcao, and he may well stay at PSG for many years.
But Le 10 Sport claim he's thinking about other destinations for next season, and is keen to sound out interest before making a decision.
His agent has reportedly been instructed to find out which teams would be interested in signing him at the end of the season, with Cavani open to a switch at that stage.
He could decide to stay at the Parc des Princes - much depends on the dynamic of his relationship with Zlatan Ibrahimovic - but Le 10 Sport suggests Arsenal, Chelsea, the two El Clasico clubs, Bayern and Dortmund would be interested.
Arsenal need a foil for Olivier Giroud at the Emirates Stadium, while Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is thought to be frustrated with the lack of goals from Stamford Bridge trio Demba Ba, Fernando Torres and Samuel Eto'o so far this season.
