2. Clarence Seedorf
The Dutch midfielder's stats in the Champions League are astonishing and he could just as well be first on the list.
Seedorf is the only player to have won the illustrious competition with three different clubs. In 1995 he helped Ajax to beat AC Milan. He moved to Real Madrid via Sampdoria and they beat Juventus in the final in 1998.
He then went to AC Milan via city-rivals Inter and won the competition twice for the Italian giants, against Juventus in 2003 and against Liverpool in 2007. He was on the losing side in the legendary 05 final when Liverpool won on penalties after coming back from 3-0 down.
