The former Real Madrid captain is the Champions League top-dog. The Spaniard spent 16 years at Los Merengues and helped them to three titles in Europe's finest club competition.

The former club talisman not only boasts the record for most goals in the competition with 71, he also netted in two of the three finals he won with the Spanish giants.

When Real Madrid beat Valencia 3-0 in 2000, Raul scored the clinching third goal. In 2002 Raul brought Real in front against Leverkusen before Zidane scored “that” goal.

Raul is quite simply Mr Champions League.
