Birmingham City manager Lee Clark has confirmed Manchester United loanee Jesse Lingard is in contention to play against Huddersfield Town on Saturday.
The Manchester United starlet, who joined Birmingham City on an initial one month's loan in September, has missed his side's last three games due to a knee injury.
Lingard returned to his parent side Manchester United to receive treatment on his troublesome knee injury - but he has now returned to Birmingham City after being deemed fit enough to return to action.
Clark is delighted with the news that the attacking midfielder is available for selection once again, as the 20-year-old had been in fine form for the Championship side before he picked up the knee injury.
Lingard, who impressed for Manchester United during their pre-season tour of Asia and Australia, announced himself on the Championship scene by scoring four goals against Sheffield Wednesday on his Birmingham City debut.
Birmingham City manager Clark, speaking to the club's official website, said on Lingard's return to full fitness: "Jesse has trained with us all week and been really bright.
"It's a huge boost having him back - not just because of his goals and general ability but also because of the freshness he brings to the team."
