Arsenal could be without midfielder Jack Wilshere when they line-up for this weekend's grudge match against Manchester United, according to the Mirror.
The 21-year-old England international was forced to sit out of the Gunners' last two matches against Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund, but hopes were maintained that he would be ready in time for the trip to Old Trafford.
However it now looks as though it may take him a few more days to recover from an ankle injury he picked up in training last week, with Arsene Wenger set to evaluate his condition during a session today before making a definite decision.
It's not all doom and gloom for the Emirates faithful though as defensive-midfielder Mathieu Flamini looks set to make his return. The Frenchman also missed out of the key victories over Liverpool and Dortmund, but will provide mettle in an Arsenal midfield that will be looking to dominate their rivals.
The Gunners will be hoping to further cement their position at the top with a victory, whereas United will know that defeat will leave them languishing 11 points behind 1st place.
