LeBron James reveals unknown injury problem
The Miami Heat star has confirmed that he is being troubled by a problem that keeps resurfacing
Miami Heat forward LeBron James has revealed that he is suffering from a back-injury that has been plaguing him since the start of this season.
James has let on a number of times that he is not 100% fit, but until now it was unsure what exactly was causing the four-time MVP problems.
However only days after becoming only the fifth person in NBA history to score ten or more points in 500 consecutive games, James told reporters that his back has been troubling him for the last couple of weeks.
The power forward said: "I've had a history of it, but I always keep a good eye on it so I should be all right.
''It ain't a great feeling, I'll tell you that - especially at nighttime when you're trying to sleep.''
The Heat star scored 18 points during last night's 102-97 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers, but has had to apply heat packs to his back in the opening few matches due to the discomfort.
And his coach, Erik Spoelstra, has admitted that he feels the issue is prohibiting James from performing to the best of his abilities.
''He didn't look as spry as he normally does,'' Spoelstra deduced.
