Jose Mourinho believes Chelsea's title challenge is being undermined by the fixture list the Blues have been handed and feels like he is being laughed at by Premier League schedulers.

Mourinho's anger was first sparked a couple of weeks ago when his side were forced to play Arsenal at Emirates Stadium in a Capital One Cup clash on the Tuesday following a last gasp win over Manchester City on the Sunday.

Chelsea won that game 2-0, which might have helped to subdue the former Real Madrid manager's displeasure, but it has piqued again at the prospect of their latest clash.

The Blues face West Brom at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon in the Premier League after beating Schalke in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

Mourinho was angered that Arsenal, the other English side playing in Europe on Wednesday, have been given a late kick-off on Sunday for their trip to Manchester United.

The Old Trafford club played on Tuesday and have had an even longer rest, as did Manchester City, who are also scheduled to play on another 'Super Sunday'.

“I think they laugh about it. They know what they can do, and they laugh because I can do nothing," he fumed.

"I don't know who they are, these people who decide the fixtures. But they must think we are special.

"Everybody else has one more day to rest. We are the only team who play Wednesday and Saturday. Others play Tuesday and Sunday.

It is happening a lot with us. We had to play Arsenal when we did - and now we have to play this game."
