Yannick Bolasie reflects on Crystal Palace's 0-0 draw with Everton
Playing against one of the best full-backs in the Premier League and getting a 0-0 draw against a top English side is a great achievement for both myself - on a personal level - and Crystal Palace as a whole.
It was hard to get into the game during the first half as they had a lot of the ball, but I thought I came into the game well in the second half and we probably could have won the game.
We had a couple of great chances and they hit the woodwork, so all in all a draw was probably a fair result.
We are happy that we picked up a point because they are an established Premier League team who have only lost one game in the league so far this season.
The team spirit was great yesterday - everyone was working hard for each other and we were constantly sending positive messages to one another.
I think the international break has come at the wrong time as we need to build on the positive result - but that's football for you.
Playing under Keith Millen has been great because I know exactly what he wants as we worked together at Bristol City.
I haven't heard anything about who the new manager will be - but we are all looking forward to seeing who it is.
I would just like to say the Crystal Palace fans were outstanding again on Saturday.
They have been fantastic from day one, so it is no surprise that they were supporting us in high numbers.
Let's hope we can push on after the international break and get something from our next two away games against Hull and Norwich.
