Fiorentina president Andrea Della Valle insists the club will "do everything" they can to keep Juan Cuadrado at the club.

The Colombian star has been a shining star for the Viola this season and has attracted interest from Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.

The Gunners reportedly sent their top transfer deal-maker Dick Law to Italy to run the rule over Cuadrado and was duly impressed with what he saw.

The movers and shakers at the Emirates were lining up a January swoop for the man who has gathered 23 caps for Colombia.

But Arsenal aren't the only club looking at the 25-year-old. Barcelona, Juventus and Bayern Munich have all been credited with an interest, confirming that Cuadrado is destined for the top.

Although insisting that he is happy to stay in Serie A with Fiorentina, speculation regarding a move has only increased in recent weeks.

But Arsenal, Barcelona and other European juggernauts have been warned by Fiorentina's president that the club will do everything in its power to keep him from moving to the Emirates stadium, the Nou Camp or indeed anywhere in the near future.

He told Firenzeviola.it: "We will try to do everything possible to keep him in Florence.

"Cuadrado we want you to stay here for a long time and have fun as you are doing now.

"This team has the pride of wearing the purple shirt. It is a cycle of great guys in a very tight dressing room - being with them gives you joy."
