The most successful and longest-running professional wrestling event in history is almost upon us. We are now only five months away from the 30th edition of WrestleMania as it takes place at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.

So, the time to make your predictions and your dream matches is almost up as a number of top matches have been leaked which the WWE hope will take place at the event on April 6, 2014.

The leaked matches involve the likes of Shawn Michaels, CM Punk and another opponent hoping to end The Undertaker’s legendary WrestleMania streak; remember, these matches are only rumoured and nothing is set in stone, most of the matches depend on whether agreements with certain superstars can be made; but if you do want to avoid such spoilers, please turn back now.

Ever since the corporation storyline started, fans predicted that Vince McMahon would bring in ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin to fight on his behalf for control of the WWE; however no such match is expected to occur at the event.

That doesn’t mean Triple H will take on The Big Show at the event, as their rivalry is not expected to reach WrestleMania, a match between the two is rumoured to take place at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view.

The new tag team champions Cody Rhodes and Goldust are expected to finally have a one-on-one match at the grandest stage of them all. The brothers are said to have wanted this match for a number of years, and this year this match could be a possibility with Goldust expected to turn on his brother in the coming months as Goldust continues to impress WWE officials.

Shawn Michaels recently cost his protégé Daniel Bryan the WWE Championship by hitting a Sweet Chin Music inside the Hell in a Cell which resulted in Randy Orton capturing the championship, followed by Daniel Bryan locking in a YES! Lock the following night on Monday Night Raw. Shawn Michaels continues to deny a return to the ring is on the horizon, however many WWE employees believe he will compete at this year’s WrestleMania, taking on Daniel Bryan.

After taking on Chris Jericho and then The Undertaker the following year, this time CM Punk is set to take on Randy Orton. CM Punk was originally set to win the Royal Rumble pay-per-view and take on the World Heavyweight Champion, but now it looks as if there is set to be a different winner.

Possibly the two most exciting, albeit unlikely, matches set to be in action. WWE officials are interesting in securing Goldberg for WrestleMania XXX, and have him face off against Ryback. If Goldberg does not return then a match against The Big Show is planned for the event instead. However, if Goldberg does agree to a return, then still expect a Ryback vs. The Big Show match earlier on in the year.

A dream match in every fans eyes, the true once in a lifetime match; as always WWE want to snap up Sting whose contract with TNA is set to expire very soon, and obviously they want a match against The Undertaker. As unlikely as that is to happen, a match between rivals Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker is set to take place at the event.

The matches involving Goldberg and Sting solely depend on whether they agree to returns.
