Juventus are weighing up a move for Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic, according to Calciomercato.
The Italian football website claims Juventus are looking into the possibility of bringing the Serbian to Serie A when his current contract expires at the end of this season.
The reigning Italian champions have enjoyed tremendous recent success in the free transfer market, bringing in Fernando Llorente, Andrea Pirlo and ex-Manchester United starlet Paul Pogba to the Juventus Stadium.
And now, if reports are to be believed, they hope to add the 31-year-old Vidic to their ranks.
The former Serbia international has been a key player for the reigning Premier League champions since moving to Old Trafford in January 2006.
His defensive partnership with Rio Ferdinand was once considered the strongest in the Premier League - and Europe, too - and the pair were crucial in 2008, when United secured their third European Cup against Chelsea in Moscow.
But it seems increasingly likely that this could be his final season with the Red Devils.
