Football can be a very serious thing for some fans and players alike, although now and again it is good to have a right old giggle.
GMS Academy member Ollie Gentle has found a right old chestnut! Hopefully you will be laughing at the end.
1) Carlos Bianchi - Larry David
64-year-old Argentine Carlos Bianchi is the successful boss of Boca Juniors, this is his third stint as Boca boss. He was previously employed by Spanish outfit Atletico Madrid although just for one season before he made yet another return to his home country club.
His lookalike Larry David has played a totally different career, setting himself into the field of writing, acting and also some work in comedy. He has won two emmy awards, although they were a long while ago.
2) Jack Rodwell - Taylor Lautner - (Perhaps not so much?
Rodwell currently is a footballer for Manchester City, although he doesn't play much! He joined the Sky Blues from Everton back in 2012 although has suffered from injury for much of last season.
As for Lautner, he is very well known for his part in The Twilight Saga in which he played Jacob Black. Lautner also plies his trade as a model and voice actor in his spare time.
3) Roy Hodgson - An owl!
Everyone should know who Hodgson is, the boss of England, obviously! He has been since 2012 after the resignation of Capello. Many cruelly make fun of his lisp, however this is something completely different. Although it may be harsh, in some eyes it is interpreted as true!
4) Victor Moses - Nicola Adams
Victor Moses is a Nigerian footballer who is currently on loan at Liverpool. Moses is just 22-years-old and could have played for England before he decided to change to Nigeria.
Nicola Adams is an English female boxer who appeared at the Olympics in 2012. She won the gold medal and is very successful.
5) Xabi Alonso - Jason Bateman (Without the beard)
Alonso is a Spanish international who currently plays for Real Madrid. He is an experienced guy who once played for Liverpool.
As for Bateman he has appeared in many films and is very successful in Hollywood, they definitely look alike, I am sure of it.
6) Joe Allen - Jamie Bell
Basically the same as above, Joe Allen is a footballer who plays for Liverpool, although again he doesn't appear very much.
As for Bell, he is famous in starring in the likes of Billy Elliot, King Kong and Tintin just to name a few!
7) Luka Modric - David Guetta (Not much!)
Modric is yet another midfielder to play for Real Madrid, once wanted by the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea. He is a very successful player.
As for Guetta, he is very successful also, although in the music industry. He is a disk jockey although has also brought out many albums.
8) Robert Lewandowski - Vernon Kay
A very ambitious lookalike yet also very true. Lewandowski plays for Borrussia Dortmund also his nationality is Polish. He is sought after by many clubs, especially after he hit four goals against a poor Real Madrid side last season.
Kay is well-known for his TV Presenting career. He has been on shows such as All Star Family Fortunes where he introduces celebrities who play for the chance to win money for charity.
9) David Luiz - Sideshow Bob
Luiz plies his trade as a defender for Chelsea, although suffers under new boss Jose Mourinho. The Brazilian is well-known for his hairstyle just like Sideshow Bob.
Bob is a prison bound character who appears on The Simpsons. He attempts to get rid of Bart Simpson although somehow is always foiled. Just like Luiz he has a wild hairstyle which is basically why they look alike.
What do you think? Can you name any other football players and their lookalikes? I look foward to seeing your suggestions.
