Players of Everton warned Manchester United stars about David Moyes' training methods, reports The Daily Mail.
Moyes, who left Goodison Park for the Premier League champions this past summer, was known for his old school methods whilst on Merseyside.
And it has now been revealed that his former players contacted stars of United to let them know about his strict training regime.
The Daily Mail reported that one United source said: "Some of the Everton players weren’t slow in contacting our players to tell them about Moyes’s training methods.
"They were told to expect some hard work and then some more hard work. It’s Moyes’s style and the Everton lads thought it quite funny that some of ours might be in for a bit of a wake-up call."
Moyes' methods have seemingly started to pay off in recent weeks as the Red Devils have started to climb the Premier League table.
United beat current league leaders Arsenal 1-0 at the Theatre of Dreams this past weekend and now just sit five points off the top.
The Red Devils chief has also been credited with helping Wayne Rooney hit his best form as the England international put in a fine display against the Gunners on Sunday. It certainly looks like the hard work is paying dividends for some of United's stars.
