Turkish giants set to move for Manchester United star

Published 1 Comments

Galatasaray are monitoring the situation of Manchester United flop Ashley Young, according to Portuguese newspaper A Bola.

The English winger has endured a terrible start to the season, and his performances on the pitch, coupled with allegations over diving, have meant that he has been linked with the exit door in January.

Although David Moyes has not expressed any official desire to get rid of Young, the 28-year-old is expected to leave Old Trafford in the near-future.

And now Turkish giants Galatasaray, who are also rumoured to be eyeing up a sensational move for Chelsea skipper John Terry, are looking into the prospect of ending his United nightmare so that he can become a key player in their squad.

Under current rules in place in the Turkish league, Gala would be forced to sell one of their overseas players in order for a move to be feasible, as they are limited to 10 foreign players in their squad.

Young has been the centre of controversy at United this season, and fans of United are unlikely to protest at his sale.
