The New Orleans Saints gave a host of kickers a workout on Thursday as they look to end their woes from the tee, according to ESPN.

While the Saints got back to winning ways following defeats against the New England Patriots and the New York Jets with a huge victory against the Dallas Cowboys on Monday, they still aren't managing to convert touchdowns and field goals on a regular basis.

Regular kicker Garrett Hartley has struggled badly in recent games and has missed four of his last six field-goals attempts.

According to ESPN that has prompted the Saints to cast an eye over a host of kickers, including Neil Rackers, Shayne Graham and Derek Dimke.

Hartley's success rate this season is at just over 70% and the six-year veteran has landed only 16 of his 22 kicks.

The 27-year-old, who famously nailed the winning kick in the 2009 championship game against Minnesota, will be given another chance against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.
