The transfer battle for the Swedish starlet labelled 'the next Zlatan Ibrahimovic' looks set to intensify, with the player's agent having confirmed that there is a lot of interest from England and across Europe in his client.

17-year-old Valmir Berisha announced himself to the international football community this summer with a stunning hat-trick during an U17 World Cup clash against Argentina which secured Sweden a well-deserved bronze.

Such form has led to immediate speculation over the future of Halmstads BK's brightest talent, with Premier League rivals Liverpool and Tottenham both linked with a potential move for his services, with reports even suggesting that he could be available for as little as £500,000.

And it appears as if the supposed interest from across the continent in Berisha does indeed have a degree of substance to it, with agent Anders Karlsson confirming suspicions that there is a great deal of interest in the player.

"No names, but I can say that I'm there are teams from England, Germany, Holland, Spain, Portugal and Italy," he was quoted by the Daily Star.

"The interest is high from England, as well as the power of the pound."
