Being a proud and fanatic Spurs supporter, writing this article is not an easy challenge. However my profession preaches objectivity and it is essential to tell the truth. So, here goes.

Modern football is associated with constant managerial changes and dismissals. Arsenal have admirably kept faith in their most successful manager, Arsene Wenger.

The Gunners have not won a major trophy in eight years. After Birmingham City defeated them in the 2011 League Cup final, many seemed to be running out of patience with Mr Wenger.

However the Arsenal board stuck with the Frenchman and this season the decision seems to be paying off. Many pundits are predicting Arsenal can now challenge for the Premier League title once again.

One has to admire the development of young players at Arsenal. Their current squad has an abundance of young talent such as Theo Walcott, Aaron Ramsey, Jack Wilshere, Serge Gnabry, Alex Oxlade Chamberlain and so on. These young players have been trained excellently at the Emirates and are now leading the way in an exciting Arsenal team.

Arsenal have qualified for the Champions League for a consecutive 16 years. This has been achieved without extraordinary spending. In this period they have bid farewell to Highbury and welcomed the spectacular Emirates Stadium. With millions that were pumped into this project it is incredible how consistently well Arsenal have done.

Arguably, Arsenal play the most entertaining football in England. Their fluid style and accurate passing is very easy on the eye. Wilshere's goal this year against Norwich was an amazing team goal - any genuine football fan would appreciate the exciting football played at Arsenal.

Finally, what makes Arsenal such a great club is its rich history of success. The Invincible's of the 2002-2003 season comes to mind. Exceptional players like Thierry Henry, Dennis Bergkamp, Patrick Viera, Cesc Fabregas, the list is endless.

In terms of a model football club, Arsenal tick all the boxes. Their loyalty, youth development, sensible spending and consistent profits, brand of football and terrific success is a credit to the club.
