David Moyes has decisions to make at Manchester United. Seven of his players are running out of contract and the Old Trafford boss must decide whether he wants to break up his squad of champions or give new long term deals to his stars.

The Red Devils have picked up in recent weeks, but as some of Moyes' players are reaching the twilight years of their career and others are failing to live up to their early promise, Moyes may have to axe some of his current crop.

So, what will he do with these seven stars?

Ryan Giggs

Ryan Giggs has had the most incredible career at Old Trafford and when he retires he will go down as a Manchester United legend.

The Welsh wizard is still playing a role in the Red Devils side this season and despite him approaching his 40th birthday, many are suggesting that he will play on for yet another year.

However, at the end of this season it may be time for him to finally hang up his boots. Now part of the back-room staff at United, Giggs should focus on helping Moyes create a new successful Manchester United side.

Verdict: No deal

Fabio

Fabio looked set for stardom as he broke into the Manchester United team at a young age. Having played in the Champions League final of 2009, it looked as if he would star for the Red Devils for many years to come.

However in recent time he has failed to progress and doesn't look up to the standard at the Theatre of Dreams.

He may have to go his separate ways from his twin brother.

Verdict: No deal

Rio Ferdinand

Rio Ferdinand has been widely regarded as the Premier League's best centre-back over the past 10 years or so.

However as he enters the final stages of his career, the former England international is no longer the player he once was.

It's time for Moyes to fully integrate the likes of Phil Jones and Chris Smalling at United.

Verdict: No deal

Patrice Evra

David Moyes seems determined to sign a new left-back which certainly puts the future of Patrice Evra in doubt.

However the French star is still playing a key role at the Red Devils and deserves to stay on for at-least one more year.

Moyes may look to slowly phase him out, but he shouldn't get rid of the left-back to soon.

Verdict: Deal

Nemanja Vidic

Nemanja Vidic is still a rock solid defender and despite reaching the latter stages of his career, he still offers a great deal to the champions.

The Serbian can help United's young defenders over the next year or two, whilst still marshalling the back-four at Old Trafford.

Verdict: Deal

Michael Carrick

Michael Carrick has been outstanding in recent years for Manchester United. Robin van Persie may well have stolen the show as Sir Alex Ferguson led United to their 20th Premier League title last term, however Carrick was just as important as the Dutchman.

Despite his recent injury, Carrick is still a crucial player for Moyes and the United boss must sign him up as quickly as possible.

Verdict: Deal

Federico Macheda

Macheda will always go down in the history books at Old Trafford as he burst onto the scene as a 17-year-old. His crucial goals against Aston Villa and Sunderland helped United to the title in 2009.

However, he's been unable to kick on and has never fully imposed himself in the starting line-up at United.

His time in Manchester looks to be coming to an end.

Verdict: No deal
