The summer transfer window has long been closed but the January window is just two months away.
Here are five Premier League players who I believe should be sold this winter:
Martin Skrtel -Liverpool
The arrivals of Kolo Toure, Mamadou Sakho and Tiago Llori this summer may well tempt Skrtel to leave Liverpool to pursue a career elsewhere .Though he has been one of Liverpool's most consistent players under Brendan Rodgers, Slovakia international Skrtel is no longer indispensable.
Guly do Prado -Southampton
The Brazilian is starting to be considered as a burden for the Saints. He played a key role in Southampton's promotion success but now his position is being taken away by the likes of Daniel Osvaldo and, as a result, he may well be on his way out.
Emmanuel Adebayor - Tottenham Hotspur
Spurs spent more than £100 million this summer but failed to offload the isolated Togolese striker, who is being kept on the sidelines by Roberto Soldado and Jermain Defoe.
Anderson - Manchester United
Anderson was believed to possess immense potential when he was bought from Porto in 2007 but he has disappointed nearly everybody. Selling him would be a good option for United.
Demba Ba - Chelsea
The Senegalese is struggling to find his best form at Stamford Bridge after the arrival of Samuel Eto'o, Willian and Andre Schurrle this summer. Ba was seemingly all set to make a loan switch to Chelsea's capital rivals Arsenal in the summer. He has scored just two goals for Chelsea in 16 appearances.
