New York Knicks star J.R. Smith has hit out at Brandon Jennings after the Detroit Pistons guard questioned whether Smith's brother, Chris Smith, should be in the NBA, reports ESPN

Questions had been raised over Chris Smith's inclusion on the roster at the Knicks as it had been suggested his brother's influence had kept him at the franchise.

And, Jennings took to Twitter to question his involvement as he tweeted the following: "Wait wait wait JR smith brother is in the NBA but @PoohJeter & @BBROWNLAU isn't. Call me hater but not Rollin!!!"

However, the tweet was then deleted by Jennings, which led to to J.R. Smith reacting angrily as he then went on to tweet himself.

In reply to Jennings, J.R Smith said: "No respect for these lil kids who pop at the mouth on twitter an then want to delete they tweets! #GrowUp! #ManUp! @TheOnlyCSmith0 #Facts!"

Despite Chris Smith being backed up by his brother, many fans are still unsure of the role he has to play at the Knicks and feel that he should be cut from the roster.

And as the Knicks will have to cut a player in order to make room for a new signing, some will be hoping this is done sooner rather than later.
