Manchester United have been strongly linked with the latest prodigal youngster coming out of Portugal, 19-year-old Carlos Mane, according to sources in Italy.
The Sporting Lisbon star, who has greatly impressed during a run with the first-team this season, is reportedly being followed by David Moyes as he looks to add a mixture of youth and quality to his squad.
According to reports, United have been following Mane's situation with great interest, and will soon determine whether or not they want to move for him.
Of course this is not the first young Lisbon star that United have been in connection with, as William Carvalho is also on their radar.
Fans will undoubtedly also fondly remember the purchase of one Cristiano Ronaldo, who signed for the current Premier League champions in 2003 after impressing during a pre-season friendly.
Mane has been linked with the Red Devils before, and was at that point already valued at around £8million, despite being only 18-years-old.
