England manager, Roy Hodgson has said that Joe Hart will not start against Chile which gives us no indication if he won't be starting against Germany.

However, now Hodgson for the Chile game has to decide who to pick to fill Hart's boots. It will be either John Ruddy or Fraser Forster.

The more promising contender for the game is Forster and this week, Barcelona and Chile starlet, Alexis Sánchez has made sure that his Chile teammates are aware of the dangers in goal Forster brings.

Sánchez was quoted by the Daily Telegraph: "Fraser is a keeper who is good with his feet. He is a complete player and it will be difficult to score against him. But it’s up to them [England] to choose who are the best keepers to take to Brazil."

I have to agree with Alexis. Fraser Forster has been a superb goalkeeper over the last twelve or so months and he his performances have been crying out for an England start and now is his chance with the omission of Hart from the number one jersey for this game.

Sánchez knows how deadly Forster is in goal from first-hand evidence playing against him three times for Barca against Forster's side, Celtic in the Champions League.

In the most recent game between these two sides, Forster gained a lot of good publicity for his amazing double save which even lead to rumours that Barca were thinking of bidding for the 6ft 8in stopper.

Manchester City have also been interested in the former Newcastle United man, as a replacement for the under-fire Hart.
