Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko is the latest player on Arsenal's transfer hit-list.

According to the Daily Mirror, the Bosnian international recently admitted he is unhappy at the Etihad Stadium due to his lack of playing time this season and could be sold.

Arsenal are in desperate need of a striker and are keeping a close eye on Dzeko and Real Madrid's Karim Benzema.

Yet the Gunners will face competition from Inter Milan, who are also interested in bringing the unhappy striker, who wants more play-time ahead of his homeland's World Cup finals debut in Brazil next summer.

With Olivier Giroud having a strain problem and currently put on a special training programme, the Gunners could have to play Nicklas Bendtner as a starter, who isn't the world-class striker Arsenal wanted to have.

That's why Arsenal will be looking forward to the January transfer window, in which they could buy the striker they need to continue pushing towards the Premier League title.

Finally it looks like Dzeko isn't happy with being the golden-sub and wants to move on.

Many teams will be fighting for the big Bosnian's signature, but will he actually move?
