Arsenal star Aaron Ramsey has revealed an injury scare kept him out Wales' friendly draw with Finland in Cardiff on Saturday.

Gunners fans have seen the 22-year-old make a blistering start to the season, scoring 11 goals in all competitions, and many expressed concern when he was left out by Wales manager Chris Coleman.

However, Ramsey took to Twitter today to reassure all the Arsenal fans that were worried about his fitness, telling them it was only a precautionary move.

"Gutted to miss the game yesterday, my hamstring was tight after training. Medical staff didn't want to risk me,will be fine for next weekend," he said.

More injuries is the last thing Arsene Wenger needs at the moment, with a number of first team players on the sidelines, but losing Ramsey would have been a whole different proposition.

He has scored a number of crucial goals so far this season and losing him would be a huge blow for the Gunners, especially as their next match is at home to the in-form Southampton on Saturday.
