Barcelona star backed for presidency
A Chilean voting in the first round of their presidential elections spoiled his with a picture of Alexis Sanchez
He sunk England with a brilliant brace on Friday night at Wembley, now one Chilean wants him to become president of their country.
Yes, it's true. On Sunday during the first round of votes in the presidential election, one man did not tick any of the boxes available on his ballot paper.
Instead, he chose to stick a topless photo of two-goal hero Alexis Sanchez on his, showing just who he believed should be Chile's own Barack Obama.
The funnyman's ballot paper was subsequently photographed by officials and posted on the internet.
Sanchez notched an impressive double in his countries 2-0 victory at Wembley on Friday night, beating Fraser Forster with a well-placed header before sealing the game with a deft chip in the last minute.
If the Barcelona striker can somehow fire his country to World Cup glory next year, he might well be in Chile's version of the White House as soon as he decides to hang up his boots.
