With the annual Survivor Series only one week away, numerous news and updates continue to be released and I am here to bring you all up-to-date with all the happenings.
This week we have the likes of Ryback, Brock Lesnar and Hulk Hogan all involved in the updates, so let’s get to it.
Obviously, this article will contain spoilers to if you wish to avoid these, please turn back now.
Kassius Ohno’s WWE release: The talented former WWE employee Kassius Ohno was released from the WWE last week after competing on NXT.
Previously, and now known as Chris Hero; according to sources his release was not a sudden decision from the WWE, but was something which had been planned for quite a while. Especially since Triple H did not like the way Ohno refused to get into better shape.
Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania XXX: Now that Hulk Hogan is no longer part of TNA, it was widely touted that Hogan would make a swift to the WWE and now those rumours are growing increasingly likely.
Jimmy Hart recently announced that Hogan would definitely be at WrestleMania, and now WWE sources are suggesting that negotiations between the two parties are looking good, but obviously anything can happen in the WWE.
Ryback to turn face: I was in attendance at Monday Night Raw form the Phones4U Arena in Manchester this past Monday and there was confusion surrounding Paul Heyman dismissing Ryback as a Paul Heyman guy. The reason for this is because Ryback should be turning to a face really soon, where he does his best work.
According to current plans, WWE officials would like to have Ryback face off against Brock Lesnar, with a match taking place at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view, with a potential clash against Goldberg at WrestleMania XXX. However, Goldberg has come out to say he would not return to the company to lose, which the plans probably would be.
The Wyatt Family vs. The SHIELD: On the same night, we witnessed The SHIELD battling The Wyatt Family, something I was fortunate enough to witness live as it was only a matter of time before the two forces met. Now there are plans to have both teams face off at WrestleMania XXX.
The brawl was not shown on SmackDown as sources say the WWE want to only tease the match, and perhaps touch on this story again early next year, with a match touted for WrestleMania XXX; considering The SHIELD are due to break up soon.
A Shane McMahon return: A WrestleMania appearance could be in line for Shane McMahon, who left the WWE in 2010 to pursue other ventures.
Triple H and Stephanie McMahon are interested in having Shane appear in New Orleans, where he could play a part in the authority storyline, no word yet as to whether Shane O’Mac is interested in a return.
AJ Lee okay after collapse: Divas Champion AJ Lee collapsed during a match against The Bella Twins where she was teaming with Tamina Snuka. The match was called off whilst WWE officials tended to her.
It has been reported that she was suffering from dehydration as the European tour has been described by WWE personnel as ‘exhausting’, but AJ Lee is now okay after her ordeal.
WrestleMania 31 in London?: It does sound ludicrous, but a house show in London this past week saw John Cena address the crowd after the show, and teased that the City could potentially host WrestleMania.
He addressed those that booed him and mentioned that Wembley Stadium could host WrestleMania, and that the noise he heard that night is similar to what he has heard at the massive event, before thanking the crowd and leaving.
He had just defended his World Heavyweight Championship against Alberto Del Rio.
