5 strikers Arsenal could sign in January (5)

#2 - Christian Benteke: Aston Villa

Number two, the impressive Belgian Christian Benteke could prove to be a quality buy for Arsenal.

He will be eligible to play in the Champions League which will be a big boost for Arsenal, and could prove to be a tempting move for Benteke, with the possibility of playing Champions League football too good to turn down.

He has age on his side and with Arsene Wenger, he has the ability to improve on his game and develop into one of the best strikers in the world. He has a knack for scoring goals, but probably lacks in other areas such as technical skill, but that can be improved upon.

Now that Arsenal have paid a large sum for Mesut Ozil, you cannot rule out Wenger paying another large sum for a young player with so much to offer.
