My number one pick is Manchester City forward, Edin Dzeko.
Although he dislikes the ‘super-sub’ tag, there is no denying he has a great influence on the Manchester City whenever he plays, plus with so much competition for first-team football at the Etihad with the likes of Sergio Aguero, Alvaro Negredo and Stevan Jovetic, Dzeko continues to fall further down the pecking order.
Despite the departures of Mario Balotelli and Carlos Tevez, many would have expected Dzeko to play a bigger role this season, but that does not seem to be the case.
He could offer Arsenal so much more, as he would be guaranteed more game time and more game time could result in more goals for Arsenal, lifting the pressure off of Olivier Giroud’s shoulders.
If Edin Dzeko does ask to move, then Arsene Wenger should pounce, regardless of the fee Pellegrini wants for the Bosnian International.
What do you think? Which striker should Arsene Wenger look to bring in? Have your say below…
