Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko is set to quit Manchester City with Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund to fight for his signature.

According to the Daily Star, Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp wants Dzeko to replace star striker Robert Lewandowski, who is looking destined to leave Borussia.

A fee has still to be agreed for Dzeko, who cost City £27million almost three years ago.

Yet Dortmund will have to move fast in order to clinch a deal before Arsenal, who are also strongly interested in Dzeko, 27.

The German club will also try to sell Lewandowski in the winter so the Pole couldn't join Bayern Munich for free in the summer and iwill be available for as little as £7m.

City are said to be interest in Lewandowski and could even make a swap deal with Borussia with Dzeko going to Germany.

The Bosnian has 18 months remaining on his City contract and there have been no talks on a new deal following the arrival of first-choice target man Alvaro Negredo.

With his lack of game-time, Dzeko should seriously consider a move to Dortmund, where he will be first-choice.
