With the second leg of the World Cup play-offs still to be played, Europe's top leagues are currently on a break.
The includes Greece's Superleague. Greece face Romania, and after their 3-1 win in the first leg in Athens, they are now close to booking their place at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
Due to this intervention to the domestic action, let's take a look at some of the highlights from the league so far this season.
In the video you can see the best eleven goals that have been scored so far in the league.
Suprisingly, Javier Saviola is nowhere in this video - proof that he has not yet hit top form.
Surely we will see a lot more of him in the near future. Another point that can be drawn from watching this video is the poor perfomances of the goalkeepers of some clubs - and the low attendances.
Enjoy the video - and, who knows, maybe this is an opportunity to have a sneak peak at players that may make an impact in European football some time in the near future.
To help a little, here are the names of the players in the video, which can be viewed here: Top 11 Goals
The first two goals were scored by the Argentine Cristian Gabriel Chaves. The third one by Miroslav Stoch of PAOK FC. The fourth from the Brazilian Igor De Soouza of Panthrikikos FC.
The fifth from the Serbian striker Znonimir Vukic of PAOK FC. The sixth from the Swedish Marcus Berg and the seventh from the only Greek in the video Dimitris Diamantakos of Ergotelis FC.
Goal number eight was scored by the Argentine Pablo de Blassis of FC Asteras Tripolis. The ninth from the Brazilian Leandro Sales de Santana or simply just Leozinho. The last one was scored by the Spaniard winger Carlos Calvo Sobrado of FC Skoda Xanthi.
My personal favourite is the one of Zvonimir Vukic of PAOK FC. What's yours?
