Manchester City striker John Guidetti has conceded he may have to leave the club on loan in January in order to get regular football.
The young Swedish forward hasn't played a minute of Premier League football since he signed for Manchester City in 2010, and has been sent out on loan twice, first to Burnley and then to Feyenoord - where he found the back of the net 20 times in 23 league games.
The 21-year-old admits another spell away from the Etihad Stadium could be on the cards and may help his career at this stage.
"I want to play football," he told TV4. "Whether that is at Manchester City or somewhere else, I don't know.
"Right now, it's a matter of training and fighting. Then, in January and onwards, it's time to show."
Guidetti is unlikely to get much of a chance at Manchester City before the January window given their strength in attack.
Over the summer Citizens boss Manuel Pellegrini added Stevan Jovetic and Alvaro Negredo to his squad, which already contained Sergio Aguero and Edin Dzeko.
