Manchester United midfielder Anderson could be set to leave the club in January with Fulham keen take him on loan. Ex-United coach Rene Meulensteen left Old Trafford in the summer before joining Fulham earlier this month, and is thought to be an admirer of the Brazilian midfielder.

Lewis Holtby has no intention of leaving Tottenham despite rumoured interest from Italy, according to the player's agent. The German international has been mentioned as a target for Roma and Inter Milan, but Holtby's agent is confident he will stay at Spurs.

Nicklas Bendtner has his sights set on a move to Barcelona or Real Madrid. The Danish international wants first-team football and is prepared to leave Arsenal in January, with the El Clasico pair his preferred destination.

Chelsea star Oscar has revealed he nearly joined Real Madrid before signing for the Stamford Bridge club in 2012. The Brazilian revealed Jose Mourinho wanted to bring him to Real Madrid a month before he agreed a move to Chelsea, where he now plays under the former-Bernabeu boss.

Leo Messi believes his recent run of injuries is just down to "bad luck". Speculation had suggested the Barcelona superstar was playing too many games, but Messi insists it's just one of those things and is looking forward to returning to action as soon as he's cleared by the medical staff.

Joe Hart will return to the England starting lineup for the match against Germany after Roy Hodgson named his team a day early. The Manchester City keeper was replaced by Fraser Forster against Chile, but will start for the Three Lions at Wembley on Tuesday night.
