Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner has revealed that he hopes to end his career at FC Copenhagen, reports Sky Sports

The Gunners forward, who has struggled with life at the Emirates, was heavily linked with a move away from north London this past summer, however the Danish forward stayed on at the Emirates.

But after another difficult season far for the striker, Bendtner has now set his sights on his final career switch, as he targets a move to his home country.

As quoted in Politiken, the Gunners forward said: "I might consider ending my career at FC Copenhagen and give the Superliga a try at the end."

The Gunners forward has had a number of loan spells away from the Emirates in recent years and if he continues to be left out of the side this season, he could soon make a permanent move away from north London.

The Danish international is currently behind Frenchman Olivier Giroud in the pecking order at Arsenal and could move sooner rather than later.
