LeBron James makes large boast about his impeccable shooting

LeBron James is an exceptionally skilled athlete, and put frankly, an incredible basketball player.

However he still runs that age old risk of annoying others when he boasts about his own abilities.

That's not a problem King James tends to worry about though, as he was quick to play up his own shooting talents over the weekend, following Miami Heats' 110-104 victory over the Mavericks on Friday night.

James managed 39 points on a mere 18 shots in that particular game and only missed five shots in the entire night.

He then responded less than modestly when asked by a reporter what he would be capable of were he to have the same amount of efforts as the Toronto Raptors' Rudy Gay, who earlier this week took a league high 37 shots, only managing to convert 11 points worth.

LeBron answered: "You give me 37 shots in a game, I’ll have 60, 70. I had 40 tonight on 18 shots. If I get 37 shots in a game, I’m going to put up 60. Easy.”

The Heat superstar has passed the 50 point mark in nine matches over the course of his career, though naturally eight of these were when he was the linchpin of the Cleveland Cavaliers side.
