Arsenal are ready to make a January move for Croatian youngster Alen Halilovic, according to The Express

Halilovic, who has also been heavily linked with a move to European Champions Bayern Munich, could now choose to join the Gunners and not Spurs.

The Gunners are now ready to battle their north London rivals Tottenham for the player's signature. And, Arsenal are hoping that the influence of Arsene Wenger will help bring the starlet to the Emirates.

The Arsenal boss has been known to develop young stars in the past and may now look to do the same with Halilovic.

The starlet is currently on the books of Dinamo Zagreb and is looking at the option of leaving the club. However the starlet is targeting first team football - something he may not get in north London or at Bayern.

However with an extremely bright future ahead of him, Arsenal and Tottenham may now go head-to-head for the player's signature in January.
