Chelsea starlet Patrick Bamford has been called up to Gareth Southgate's England Under-21 side.
Bamford, who has scored 12 goals in 20 games on loan at MK Dons this season, has replaced West Brom forward Saido Berahino.
The 20-year-old has previously represented England U-18s and U-19, where he scored one goal in four games, is in line to make his first appearance for England's Under-21 side.
The MK Dons loanee played for the Republic of Ireland's Under-18 side before deciding to switch allegiances to England.
On the back of his call-up, Bamford tweeted: “Very proud and excited to have been called up for the game against San Marino.”
Bamford could go straight into Southgate's team to play San Marino on Tuesday night, as Berahino is suspended for the Euro 2015 qualifying tie at the New Meadow stadium and Manchester United starlet Will Keane is still recovering from a cruciate knee injury.
England are currently three points clear at the top of Group 1 with a game in hand - having won four of their first five games.
