Juventus are set to offer Manchester United and Arsenal target Stephan Lichtsteiner a contract extension, according to talkSPORT.
The 29-year-old right-back has been linked with a move to the Premier League in recent months, but Juve manager Antonio Conte is keen to keep him at the club.
Lichtsteiner's current contract expires in 2015, which led to speculation that Manchester United or Arsenal would sign the £15m-rated defender for a cut-price fee when the transfer window opens in January.
However, the Switzerland international is now expected to pen a new deal with the Old Lady, two years after joining the club from Lazio.
Lichtsteiner is widely considered one of Europe's best right-backs - and he has been a key part of the Juventus side which has won the last two Serie A titles.
The news is likely to come as more of blow to Arsenal than Manchester United, who have the 23-year-old Rafael in their ranks.
