Twitter was awash with rumours on Monday that LeBron James could take yet another step to equalling the feats of Michael Jordan by starring in a follow-up to Warner Bros blockbuster Space Jam.
'Space Jam 2' started trending after the apparent leak of a mocked up poster showing LeBron standing next to Bugs Bunny and wearing a 'Tunes Squad' jersey.
But is is real? Well, there has been no confirmation - or denial - from the studio, the Miami Heat superstar, or even Bugs, so fans desperate for a Space Jam sequel remain optimistic it could hit theatres next summer.
LeBron has previously stated in interviews that he would love to be the star of another Space Jam, being a huge fan of the original which would have hit screens when he was aged only 12.
The movie is a fictional account of Jordan's retirement from the NBA and return to the sport with the help of Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck and chums. It grossed a whopping $230 million at the US box office.
