Arsenal have realised that they need another centre forward to give some much needed competition for Olivier Giroud.
With Theo Walcott and Lukas Podolski still injured, there are no worthy replacements for Giroud.
The cover at the moment is Nicklas Bendtner who has been a huge flop since his return to the first team for over two years.
Giroud's lack of competition is probably the main reason for why is he was so below par against Manchester United.
The Gunners are currently sitting at the top of the Premier League, two points clear of second place Liverpool.
However, the north London side are still looking to add another centre forward to keep this amazing start to the season up all the way to the end.
One man who Arsenal have been linked with is Borussia Dortmund star Robert Lewandowski.
The Polish striker has talked about his desire to move on from Dortmund and has hinted at wanting a move to a Premier League club and Arsenal have become interested by this remark.
Lewandowski is a very audacious move for the gunners to make which is why this article will be on the top three alternatives to Lewandowski.
