Manchester United are ready to offer Nemanja Vidic a new deal in the New Year to stay at Old Trafford, reports the Manchester Evening News.
The Red Devils captain, who has been the subject of interest from Italian giants Juventus, runs out of contract at the Premier League champions at the end of the season.
However now David Moyes is ready to end speculation regarding his captain's future, by offering the defender at-least a one-year-deal to remain at Old Trafford.
Vidic has starred for Manchester United in recent weeks and now Moyes wants to keep the star at the club.
With the Red Devils integrating the likes of Phil Jones and Chris Smalling into the side, the Old Trafford hierarchy still want Vidic to act as an experienced head in the side.
Despite Juventus readying an offer for the Manchester United hard-man, David Moyes is confident the Red Devils can seal a new deal with the Serbian international.
Manchester United will now hope the defender snubs a move to the Serie A in order to continue his stay with the Premier League champions.
