Manchester United & Arsenal to make Pogba bid

Published 1 Comments

Manchester United, Arsenal & Manchester City are all poised to make January bids for Juventus star Paul Pogba, according to Sportsmail.

The 20-year-old, who left United after becoming frustrated with the lack of first-team opportunities in 2012, is widely regarded as one of the best young midfielders in Europe.

However, the Premier League trio are likely to be left disappointed, with Juventus determined to keep him in Serie A for at least another 18 months.

The France international is reportedly happy to stay with the Italian champions until the end of the 2014/15 campaign - at least - following talks between his advisers and the club.

However, Pogba's agent Mino Raiola - who also represents Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Mario Balotelli - is known for brokering big deals, and subsequently his talented client has been linked with a big-money move to Chelsea in recent weeks.

Pogba currently earns €1.2m a year at Juventus, but a handful of more lucrative offers from Premier League clubs are likely to arrive over the forthcoming months.
