Manchester United are interested in signing Martin Hinteregger from Red Bull Salzburg, confirms the player's agent.
The Austrian under-21 international will, however, not be leaving the Austrian club in January.
At just 21 years-old, Hinteregger has already won two titles in the Austrian league with Salzburg and has made 78 league appearances for the team.
TalkSPORT had reported earlier this week that a host of clubs were keeping an eye of the imposing centre-back with view to signing him in January.
With a fee of around £2m is thought to be enough to secure his signature, Manchester United, Juventus and Lazio were all linked with moves.
The player's agent Frank Schreier confirmed that those three clubs are all options for the player when he does finally decide to leave the club owned by the energy drink giants.
But he also said that although Hinteregger is likely to leave Austria in the near future, it won't be in January.
Talking to Italian website Cittaceleste, he said: "Looking ahead to next season there is interest from several clubs in Italy and England. Thinking about this topic, his future will be in the Premier League or Serie A.
"For the January transfer market we have totally ruled out his departure. Options? I know Manchester United, Juventus and Lazio are interested."
