Real Madrid ready to sell Manchester United & Arsenal target

Real Madrid are ready to sell Argentine international Angel Di Maria in order to raise funds, reports The Metro

Di Maria, who has been linked with a move to Premier League duo Manchester United and Arsenal in recent weeks, faces an uncertain long term future at the Bernabeu outfit after the arrival of Gareth Bale in the pst summer.

And, with Real boss Carlo Ancelotti looking to raise the money to sign Liverpool forward Luis Suarez, United and Arsenal could now step up their interest in the Argentine superstar.

Arsenal signed Di Maria's former teammate Mesut Ozil from the Bernabeu in the summer and could now tempt the club to part ways with another one of its prize assets.

The Gunners have started this campaign in fine form and the signing of Di Maria would only boost their hopes of silverware.

However Arsenal may have to come up against Manchester United for the player's signature. David Moyes struggled in the last transfer window and will be desperate to land a marquee signing for the club.

Manchester United sold Cristiano Ronaldo to the Bernabeu in 2009 and will hope Madrid return the favour by selling Di Maria on this occasion.
