Manchester United duo Michael Carrick and Nemanja Vidic have agreed new deals to stay at Old Trafford, according to the Daily Star.
Both Carrick and Vidic were in the final year of their contracts at the club and David Moyes was desperate to tie the pair down at the Theatre of Dreams.
Both players had been linked with moves to a number of teams, but now the duo will be plying their trade with Manchester United next season.
Carrick, who is currently out injured, has agreed to stay on at the Red Devils for a further two years. The England international has been a main-stay in the United team in recent time and the Manchester United boss will be pleased to have Carrick for the long term.
Vidic meanwhile, has agreed a new one year deal to stay with the Premier League champions. The Manchester United captain is set to complete the deal to stay on at the club next week.
The Red Devils centre-back has been in fine form in recent weeks and looks set to stay on as captain for at-least another year.
Vidic looks set to play for Manchester United as they travel to Cardiff City this weekend.
