All of Chelsea's strikers have been mediocre so far in the season, and the club have been linked with a number of forwards, but do the Blues really need a new striker?
In recent weeks, Radamel Falcao has been linked with a mega money move to the London club. But, is spending such a ludicrous amount of money necessary?
Chelsea have been known for digging deep into their pockets to bring in star-signings. Some result in flops, as have Fernando Torres and Demba Ba. However, Chelsea's on-loan striker, Romelu Lukaku, has impressed during loan-spells at West Brom, and so far at Everton.
So, instead of paying major amounts of money to bring in another potential flop of a striker, Chelsea need to make the most of Lukaku. He has proven himself to be effective in the Premier League, even when he is playing with lower-table teams against much stronger teams.
His pace, combined with his strength, is enough to give the heebie-jeebies to any defender, and yet Chelsea decide to send him out on-loan for a second successive season.
So, Mourinho doesn't need to sign a new striker.
With Lukaku still very young, Chelsea should not worry about signing a new striker anytime soon. Instead, they should worry about getting their current strikers into a decent run of form. And with all the quality in the rest of the areas, Chelsea seem to have a bright future ahead.
