Real Madrid are prepared to offload their main striker in Karim Benzema plus an addition £20 million to buy Liverpool's Luis Suarez, according to the Daily Star.
After rumours about the Uruguayan stating that he's still unhappy at Anfield, the striker could leave Anfield as early as January. He is more keen then ever to play European football and with Arsenal ready to make another bid for him, Liverpool would prefer to sell their star man abroad.
It is also thought that Madrid would be Suarez's preferred destination and the Spanish giants hope offering a big-name replacement will make it be easier for Liverpool to sell. Madrid value their current striker Karim Benzema at £20 million, so they believe they are offering close to what Arsenal were offering in the summer.
Liverpool could be more then reluctant to sell Suarez, especially as Benzema has failed to hit the ground running this season. His poor form may lead to Madrid choosing another star name to exchange for Suarez, such as Fabio Coentrao or Sami Khedira.
If any of Madrid's players refuse to be part of his exchange, they are prepared to pay the full amount - although this is very doubtful until they sell some of their big names to accommodate Suarez. Madrid are roughly in more then £500 million of debt after spending £150m just this summer - £86m of it on Gareth Bale.
