Manchester United are in desperate need of a new midfielder, so it's not much of a surprise that some of Europe's hottest young stars are being linked with a move to Old Trafford.
In recent days, the Red Devils have been linked with a move for their former wonderkid, Paul Pogba, as well as German international Julian Draxler.
Pogba departed the Theatre of Dreams in the summer of 2012 and has since gone on to become a major hit at Italian giants Juventus. His impressive form has led to a number of Europe's elite clubs chasing his signature, however Manchester United boss David Moyes should stay clear.
Despite his form in Serie A being pretty sensational, the French international isn't the type of character Moyes needs as he leads United into a new era.
Pogba may well be extremely talented, but his ego makes him a liability and even if the Red Devils did splash the cash to bring him back to Old Trafford, he would probably be off on his travels in another couple of years anyway.
Don't be surprised if Pogba moves from club-to-club throughout his career. Of course he will prove a hit at whoever he plays for, but United have been down that route before and should now look forward.
That's why the Manchester United boss should make German star Julian Draxler his main priority as he looks to bring in a big-named player to the Theatre of Dreams.
Draxler has revealed he is going to review his future at Bundesliga outfit Schalke in the summer and that's when United should pounce. Draxler, is an extremely different player to Pogba, but can offer Manchester United just as much.
The 20-year-old can play in the middle of the park, in a more advanced role or on the wing and with bundles of energy and great composure on the ball, he's just the type of player the Red Devils need.
The German ace is a creator and scorer of goals and would without a doubt cause havoc to Premier League defences. Additionally, his attitude seems different to Pogba's. Draxler works hard on the pitch, seems focussed and will become a star for one of Europe's elite clubs.
Despite being just 20-years-old, Draxler is in-fact a fairly experienced player having racked up almost 100 appearances for the Bundesliga side.
With bags of potential and a wonderful future in-front of him, Moyes must grasp his chance and make Draxler a Manchester United player.
